The first feature of the Monday night program came down to an old fashioned Kansas/Nebraska showdown on the Short Track. Steve Swarthout of Beatrice, Nebraska held the lead as the 18-car field clicked off the laps. Fairbury’s Lee Horky and Belleville’s Tyler Frye caught the leader with four laps left and shuffled Swarthout back to third-place on Lap 17
