The inaugural Belleville Dirt Nationals at the Belleville High Banks event date will move to June 9-14, 2022. The adjusted schedule will set up a rare Monday-Tuesday mega-show for Super Late Models on June 13-14. The Super Late Model features will retain their respective $25,000-to-win (Friday) and $50,000-to-win (Saturday) payouts.
“The World’s Fastest Half-Mile Dirt Track,” will host seven days and nights of racing culminating with $25,000-to-win Friday and $50,000-to-win Saturday night Super Late Model shows. This will be the first time since 2008 that Super Late Models have raced at the legendary half-mile facility.
After earning the pole position on Saturday night, Luke Cranston put the finishing touches on the United Rebel Sprint Series’ Fourth Annual Belleville 305 Sprint Car Nationals by wiring the field in Sunday’s 30-lapper to take the $7,000 victory atop the ½-mile Belleville High Banks clay oval. The “B” Main took the green flag as “A” Main cars began staging only to have a red flag fly at the start as Aaron Ploussard, Adam Trimble and Cash Beeson all crashed wildly on the frontstretch. Storms hit moments later and doused the facility to force the Sunday resumption of the event.
